After acquiring MYRO in June 2009, I intended to work non-stop to make it airworthy again and ready to fly. However, many weeks were lost due to bad weather over the winter, so it was not until July 2010 that MYRO was at last fully assembled as a complete aircraft at Linton airfield.
I’d got its engine to run but there were still several small jobs to do before MYRO could be inspected and test flown for a new Permit to Fly. The weather on the day was perfect and I wanted to commemorate what was for me a great occasion by shooting this short video.
