Destination Gravesend

This video was shot a week after the flight to Faversham and yet again, although I finished the flight as planned, the video didn’t. This time I tried turning the video recorder off mid-flight to save some tape and battery for the return leg and landing but unfortunately, having turning it off, I didn’t manage to get it to turn back on again! So although the destination was Gravesend, the video only showed the section of the flight approaching Rochester and the Medway bridge. All part of the learning curve! The whole flight lasted for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

This is another old video shot on my Canon tape video recorder that I’ve had to restore from a poor quality copy after losing the original footage in a computer hard disk crash, so although it’s a record of the time, its quality leaves a lot to be desired.
