Destination Pevensey Bay

On 3rd January 2011 my second flight of the year in MYRO was to Pevensey Bay on the south coast. My original intention was to head initially down to Eastbourne and then to the east back up the coast to Pevensey Bay before turning back north to return to Linton. However, the weather began to close in a bit and I decided to cut the corner before I got to Eastbourne. My approach back into Linton was a bit too high and I had to execute quite a hefty sideslip to get down onto the short winter runway 29.

This was another of my early videos shot on my old Canon videotape camcorder but for some reason the results were somewhat better than previously.
