On 6th November 2010 I flew MYRO from Linton over the River Thames to Essex. This is a recording of my landing back at Linton after completing the flight. It was policy to avoid doing anything that might upset or inconvenience our neighbours and we always took care to never fly at low level over their properties. So in this video after joining overhead Linton from the north at about 2000 feet I flew a wide and long downwind that took me well clear of the fishing lakes, a neighbouring small garden centre and other properties to the south of the airfield. The final to runway 29 also had to be offset slightly to the north for the same reason. The landing itself was on the shorter winter runway 29, which is next to the main runway but remains dryer during the winter months.
This was an early video shot on my old Canon videotape camcorder and has been reprocessed due to the loss of the original footage following my computer hard drive crash of a few years ago.
