MYRO Check Flight 2

Rosie’s check flight at the end of August 2010 was deemed to be ineligible because she was a former owner of MYRO so I had to arrange another, and soon because it had to be completed within 28 days of the Permit to Fly inspection. After a quick phone call to Chris Draper, the owner of Medway Microlights at Stoke, I heard that Martyn, his test pilot, would be glad to do it. So I popped up to Stoke with MYRO on 4 September 2010, a dull and overcast day with a blustery wind. Maidstone and Rochester are situated between Linton and Stoke and must not be overflown. This therefore gave me the opportunity to fly up to Stoke via the east of Maidstone and back via the west of Rochester, allowing me a bit of extra flying time. Clever eh…

As for Rosie’s check flight, I shot this one once again on my little Pentax still camera, so the movie bits are not of very high quality. But at least they are a record of the event.
