Cyclone AX3 microlight G-MYRO was used by Rosie for many years training students for their microlight licences. I was the last one and just before I’d completed the course, MYRO’s permit to fly expired and it was taken out of service. Its engine and some of its instruments were transferred to a newer AX3 Rosie had acquired and MYRO was partially dismantled for storage.
After I’d qualified I decided to buy MYRO, obtain an engine, the necessary instruments and the other parts required to restore it and to get it back into the air and after doing so, I picked it up from Rosie’s on an old trailer on a wet evening in June 2009. By the end of the week-end everything was tucked-up in my garage ready for work to begin.
