I am sad to say that at 10.55 am local time this morning, Toddie, my springer spaniel who has been my old pal, best mate, constant companion and closest friend for the past ten years, passed away. Mercifully, the end was not too drawn out and he ended up dying quite peacefully in my arms in his own bed in his own house in front of his own fire. I can’t imagine what my life will be like without him but the way I feel at the moment, I just can’t say any more for now.<\/p>\n
