Tell you what, these Enedis guys are serious when they eventually get around to doing the job. Take a look at the next picture.<\/p>\n

And yup, when the young engineer was making the connections he was wearing a safety helmet at all times. Yes, seriously. I was looking over his shoulder, though, and I wasn’t. Here’s the cable from my ‘coffret de chantier’ going into the new Enedis ‘coffre’ that was installed at the roadside on the edge of my land a couple of weeks or so ago.<\/p>\n

The meter has a reading of over 13000 units on it and the engineer took a shot of it on his tablet to pass on to EDF for when they start billing. I notice that he also changed over the main ‘disjoncteur’ in my box upping it from 30A to 60A. He said that he might but I had to leave for an appointment yesterday after he’d connected me up, so he must have done it after I’d gone.<\/p>\n
